whether it's your birth story, a chapter in your family's life, or just a really empowering moment for yourself -- i am here to help write your narrative.

i take a connection-centered approach to my work and think it is incredibly important to truly know who you're working with and who you allow into your space.

the way i see it

my style

i didn't hire a birth photographer...

take a peek at what your story can look like.

the spark notes:

and i wish i knew how much of a priority it should have been.

i know what it’s like to be sitting up with my newborn at 3am. they’ve fallen asleep at the boob and yet, i miss them.

i’m scrolling through all these photos that i have of them from the moment they were born. blurry, dark, not so great photos that i will treasure for the rest of my life because it was the moment i became their mom.

i don't want you to forget that moment.

↠ wife to a pretty rad dude for 6 years
↠ mom to 2 incredible kids
↠ San Diego, born + raised (but you will not catch me at the beach)
↠ birth nerd (obviously)
↠ i live off of iced coffee
↠ almost exclusively wear black
↠ my hair color is ever changing
↠ bibliophile
↠ podcasts, live music, spooky stuff, and bad reality tv is my jam
↠ gemini sun/moon and cancer rising (if you're into that sort of thing)

time goes by way too fucking fast.
one moment you're becoming a parent and the next, you're watching that incredible baby become a real person with big emotions + strong opinions.

i know what it's like to be the primary parent -- stuck on the other side of the camera while your camera roll is full of photos of your kids + your partner.

there's nothing more valuable than taking the moments to be on the other side and really taking in where your transformation into parenthood has led you.

believe me, you deserve this.

i don't want you to forget any of these moments.

01.

total birth + breastfeeding nerd

Goodness gracious, I love birth. I was pregnant and/or breastfeeding from March 2018 to June 2023! I am one of those weirdos that loves being pregnant but also totes understand when it's hard and not always glamorous. I see you. Also being an avid reader, I have a plethora of pregnancy, birth, and parenting books. Seriously, I could probably open up a library. I'm happy to geek out over birth with you and love to hear about your journey.

tattooed elder emo

In true millenial fashion, I am tattooed, have stretched ears, and listen to the same pop punk bands I did in the early 2000s. If this is also you, we can chat about the good ole days forever and bond over our favorite bands.

all birthing bodies

I am supportive of ALL birthing bodies. We're LGBTQIA+ friendly over here and I welcome all birthing families and their partners from all ethnicities and walks of life. I promise a safe space for you and your birth.
